Does this replace a lawyer?

No — and we're intentional about that. FinePrintFix is an AI-powered informational tool. It helps people understand contracts in plain English before they decide whether to consult an attorney, negotiate terms, or sign. For any contract with significant financial or legal implications, we always recommend consulting a qualified attorney. Every portal displays this recommendation prominently.

Can my clients run unlimited analyses once they have access?

No. Client access is controlled through single-use tokens that you generate. Each token allows one document upload. Once used, the token is consumed. Tokens expire after 7 days whether used or not. You control exactly how many analyses your clients can run — it comes out of your monthly quota.

What does "Powered by FinePrintFix" mean for my brand?

Your portal looks like your brand — your logo, your colors, your subdomain. Every analysis and PDF export includes your company name in the disclaimer: "This analysis is provided by [Your Company] through FinePrintFix, an AI-powered tool." This is automatic on all plans — no setup required. "Powered by FinePrintFix" also appears as a small footer attribution. This tells clients they're interacting with a trusted third-party AI tool, which is a trust signal in itself. The analysis, disclaimers, and product are ours. The brand experience is yours.

Does using the portal protect me legally if a client disputes a contract?

Not directly — and we won't position it that way. The portal doesn't constitute legal review and clients could still claim the analysis was incomplete or incorrect. What it does do is create a record that the client was given a plain-English breakdown tool before signing, which makes "I didn't know what I was signing" harder to argue credibly. It's a trust and dispute-reduction tool, not a legal shield. For significant contracts, always have a lawyer involved.

Are my clients' documents stored?

No. Original documents are transmitted to the AI analysis engine and immediately discarded. We never store the source documents. Analysis output (flags, summaries, etc.) is retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted. Your clients' sensitive contract details remain private.
