3. Accuracy of analysis
FinePrintFix uses artificial intelligence to analyze legal documents. AI-generated analysis has inherent limitations:
- The AI may misinterpret complex or ambiguous legal language
- Analysis may not reflect recent changes in law or jurisdiction-specific rules
- Market rate comparisons are estimates based on general data and may not reflect your specific situation

4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FinePrintFix and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on this service.
This includes but is not limited to: losses arising from signing a contract based on our analysis, losses from legal disputes, losses from decisions made using information provided by this tool, or any other financial or legal consequences of using this service.
Dollar cap on liability: In no event shall our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of this service exceed the amount you actually paid for the specific analysis in question. If you used a free analysis, our maximum liability is zero.
Your use of FinePrintFix is entirely at your own risk. This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
5. Payments & refund policy
Pricing
FinePrintFix offers the following paid options:
- Standard analysis — $3.99 per document
- Professional analysis — $24.99 per document
- Professional upgrade — $21.00 (when upgrading from a previously purchased Standard analysis)
- Compare pack — $7.99 (up to 3 documents analyzed and compared)
Your first Standard analysis is free. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
All sales are final
All payments for digital document analysis services are non-refundable. Because FinePrintFix delivers instant digital results — the analysis is generated and delivered immediately upon payment — we are unable to offer refunds once an analysis has been completed.
Exceptions
We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:
- Your payment was processed but no analysis was delivered due to a technical error on our end
- You were charged more than once for the same analysis due to a billing error
To request a refund under these circumstances, contact us at hello@fineprintfix.com within 7 days of your purchase with your payment confirmation details.
Disputes
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider. We will respond to all billing inquiries within 2 business days.
6. Privacy policy

7. Your documents and data
Document storage
Your original documents are never stored. When you upload a PDF or paste text, it is transmitted securely to the AI for analysis and then immediately discarded. We do not retain copies of your contracts, leases, employment agreements, or any other documents you upload.
Analysis results
The analysis output (flags, summary, questions, financial breakdown) is saved to your account so you can access it from your dashboard. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Only you can access your own analyses — each user's data is isolated at the database level using row-level security.
What we do not do with your data
We do not read, review, sell, share, or use the content of your document analyses for any purpose other than displaying it back to you. Your analysis content is never used for training AI models, shared with third parties, or reviewed by our team. We access user data only when required to resolve a specific technical issue at your request.
Data retention — 90-day content expiry
Analysis content (flags, summaries, financial breakdowns, and questions) is automatically and permanently deleted 90 days after the analysis was created. After 90 days, only metadata is retained — the document name, flag counts, date, and tier. This automatic deletion happens regardless of whether your account is active.
You can delete any individual analysis at any time from your dashboard. If you close your account, all associated data including saved analyses and payment records will be permanently deleted immediately.
Account deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from your dashboard at any time. Go to your dashboard, click "Account settings" in the footer, and select "Delete my account." All your data — saved analyses, payment records, and account credentials — will be permanently and immediately deleted. This action cannot be undone.
If you are unable to access your dashboard, you can request account deletion by emailing legal@fineprintfix.com. We will complete the deletion within 5 business days.
Security
We use TLS encryption for all data in transit. Our database uses AES-256 encryption at rest. Row-level security is enforced at the database level — no user can access another user's data even in the event of an application error. We regularly review our security practices and infrastructure.
GDPR and CCPA
If you are located in the European Union or California, you have additional rights regarding your personal data including the right to access, rectify, and erase your data. To exercise these rights, email legal@fineprintfix.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Disputes & governing law
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from your use of FinePrintFix shall be resolved under applicable federal and state law.
Informal resolution first
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at legal@fineprintfix.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most issues can be resolved quickly and without formal proceedings.
Individual claims only
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from use of FinePrintFix must be brought on an individual basis only. You agree not to bring or participate in any class action, collective action, or representative proceeding against FinePrintFix.
Limitation period
Any claim arising from use of this service must be filed within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim. Claims filed after this period are permanently barred.
